The Tea That Makes Me Go Huh?

This whole weight loss craze is getting a bit overboard. Before, it’s only a pill, or a diet that promises a thinner you in x number of weeks. Now, I go to our local convenience store and see that even my favorite bottle of tea now has all these substance that claims to burn fat or curb your carbohydrate intake or both. Now seriously, weight loss tea? Tea contains antioxidants to begin with, which of course we all know is good for the body. Now it makes me think twice about grabbing that bottle of tea. For one, it’s not freshly brewed, so meaning it is already laced with preservatives. Now it has more artificial chemicals that has all these fat-burning properties. Isn’t all that dieting and exercising good enough to guarantee a healthier, fitter body? Do we really need to ingest all these chemicals just to lose weight? I am enjoying a nice hot cup of tea as I write this, organically grown and freshly brewed. I like my tea this way. How about you?
